About me
I am pleased that you are visiting my site.
Allow me to briefly introduce myself, my name is Tom Schüler. I like to spend my time observing animals in the wild and in breathtaking landscapes. My main focus is on wildlife photography, mainly photographing in the Scandinavian countries and in the Alpine region, close to my home.
I am aware that it is a great privilege to be able to pursue this passion.
I am grateful and humble at the same time, especially when I am once again able to experience one of these wonderful moments in nature. Even if a photo can never fully capture these moments, it is the best way to share what I have seen with you.
This is why I run this website, my social media channels, write blog posts, offer one-to-one wildlife photography coaching and sell my photographs as fine-art-prints. It is always my aim to capture as varied and creative images as possible, so I often spend a long time on one species. Varied images are created through different seasons or by using different shooting techniques.
Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience in this field and am constantly learning more.
I have written down my knowledge (at the moment only in german) and experience of wildlife photography in a descriptive way and from this I have developed a personalized coaching for beginners and for ambitious wildlife photographers who want to reach the next level.
I am a strong advocate of one-to-one coaching as it allows me to focus much more on individual needs and therefore progress more quickly.

In nature photography, good and reliable equipment plays a crucial role, especially when the weather shows its harsh side.
Personally, I rely on full-frame mirrorless cameras and lenses from Canon, as well as fine art printers from the same company. Tripods from Gitzo, filters from Nisi, storage media from Wise, EIZO monitors and backpacks from NYA-EVO.
